Lydia de Félix Álvarez just joined our lab to carry out her final project at the University of Alcalá.

«I am Lydia, a Biology student at the University of Alcalá (UAH). I will be conducting my internship and my TFG, focused on the biorestoration of antibiotic-sensitive gut bacterial populations by increasing the cost of resistance, at the Microbiology Department of the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, within Jerónimo Rodríguez-Beltrán’s research group.

On a personal level, I consider myself an empathetic, sincere, and straightforward person with a strong desire to learn. I most enjoy traveling, exploring new countries, and trying different types of food. I also love spending time with my family and friends. A lifelong passion of mine has been dancing. Having worked for several years at festivals, I have developed a proactive attitude, clear communication skills, and the ability to react quickly to unexpected challenges.»

Welcome to the lab, Lydia!
