The group has actively participated in the International Microbiology Literacy Initiative (IMiLI), led by Kenneth Timmis. A “concept for literacy attainment in societally-relevant microbiology” that provides teaching materials to provide a literate society in key aspects of microbiology. We have done our bit by writing a small chapter about “Genetic elements encoding and transferring resistance among microbes: Plasmids”, which is part of The AntiMicrobialResistanceRogues Gallery.
