News Ignacio de Quinto (A.K.A Nacho) has joined the lab as an undergraduate. Nacho is studying a biology degree at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and will be around for at least a year during which we will show him the secrets and wonders of bacterial evolution. We’re glad to have you here!!!

News ISPB 2022 Last month, Cris and Paula attended their first Plasmid Biology Meeting (Toulouse, France). Both shared their results in oral presentations and received very good and useful feedback from the Plasmid Community.  Being surrounded by so many wonderful people and learning so much has been an incredible experience! News MicroMol2022 This week we attended to the MicroMol2022 Meeting in Granada, Spain, where we met old and new friends. Cris and Paula had the opportunity to present their projects and Jero was awarded the MicroMol2022 research prize. Great science and amazing environment! See you in the next MicroMol!

News FEMS Summer School for Postdocs Our colleague Cristina just came back from FEMS Summer School of Postdocs in Split, Croatia. She has enjoyed 10 unforgettable days of amazing science in an extraordinary venue (MedILS; see picture above!) with excellent mentors and postdocs. And also, she won the award for the Best Project.
